The "penny candy" is always nice to add, although most of it is now a nickel or a dime. We still have Swedish Fish, Bubble gum, Mary Jane's, caramels, as well as the mini Reese's peanut butter cups, York peppermint patties, etc.
We carry a selection of party goods, including basic designs and colors of plates and napkins. Specific licensed patterns for children can be ordered for larger parties. For adults we have a lovely assortment of cocktail napkins and guest towels. Some patterns we have in matching dessert and dinner plates as well--if not, they can be quickly ordered. Place cards are hard to find these days; I try to carry a nice range of them, from Anna Griffin, Crane's, Caspari and Hallmark.
We have birthday candles of all kinds and colors (including musical ones and magic re-ligjting ones), banners, blow-outs, streamers, balloons and party games--even the classic Pin the Tail on the Donkey! Don't forget the party hats, and the crowns for the birthday boy or girl. We even have deluxe Birthday Cake Hats and Over the Hill Cake Hats. Adults love these fun fabric hats. If you really want to rub it in, we have an ever-changing array of Over the Hill gag gifts, from mugs to Age Erasers.
If you live in the area, order your helium balloons ahead of time, and we'll have them ready for you to pick up for your party. One dozen or twelve dozen, bright colors or pastels, latex or mylar--we have a large assortment on hand. Add decorative weights to make centerpieces if you like.
